Casa Carolina - Luxurious beach home in Santana

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Casa Carolina. The location was great to access main facilities (Clubhouse, Rancho Santana pools, multiple dining options, 2 of the 5 beaches, gym, stables, etc.). The view was fantastic and perfect for watching the sun set. Great kitchen and A/C in house! Communication with the property management company was stellar. We were bummed to find shower pressure in the 2nd bathroom was almost non-existent. Our family of 4 ended up using only the primary shower. The property manager was very responsive when I let them know, but given our short stay (3 days) we didn't see a resolution while we were there. The pool also had some issues while we were there. Again the property management company was fantastic about getting someone out right away. There were people at the property both full days of our stay trying to resolve. Unfortunately, given our short stay, we didn't get to see a resolution which was kind of a bummer because we would have loved to use it in the evenings. Rancho Santana is a super unique property. We did not have a car - a free shuttle that ran hourly to bring guests to various sites. You could also pay for a shuttle on demand. This worked, but hourly is a bit of a loose term for the free shuttle and the wait for an on demand shuttle was up to about 20 minutes. I would recommend folks rent a car if you want to fully enjoy the property. Definitely do some of the tours and a horse ride)! We would recommend this property
